Responsibility on the Rossbrand

A lake for the snow

On the Rossbrand, at around 1,600 metres, lies our storage pond. It holds 125,000 cubic metres of water and takes around three months to fill. That way, the water for snowmaking is already on the mountain when winter arrives. We generate part of the power for it ourselves: photovoltaic systems on the roofs on the mountain supply solar energy, topped up with bio-electricity from a regional energy community.

Tomorrow’s slope is still a lake today.

More sustainable, step by step

Responsibility on the mountain

Our mountains are not just our workplace but, above all, a precious place to live and unwind. That’s why it matters to us to use our resources responsibly and to operate more sustainably, step by step.

Our own energy

We already generate part of our energy ourselves with photovoltaic systems.

With the Fidibus

The free Fidibus takes you through Filzmoos to the lifts, no car needed.

Regional electricity

As part of a regional energy community, we rely on bio-electricity.

For future generations

So that the mountains around Filzmoos remain a place of wonder tomorrow, too.
